Meatballs
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes
Serves: 5
Ingredients:
- 1kg lean ground beef
- ¼ cup Waltanna Foods Brown Flaxseed Meal
- 1 egg
- 4 cloves garlic
- ¼ onion diced
- 1 handful parsley chopped
- 1 handful fresh basil chopped/ ½ tsp dried basil
- ¼ teaspoon salt/ ½ tsp flax sprinkle
Optional:
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method:
- Add all ingredients into a bowl and hand mix/place into mixer with paddle attachment and mix until blended but not over mixed.
- Form into meatballs - all the same size.
- Heat oil in pan until hot
- Add meatballs and sauté until browned on all sides or bake in the oven at 200°C for 20 minutes on a tray lined with baking paper.
- Place on a paper towel lined platter to absorb any extra oil.
